Most of us do not really know why we are on this planet. Some believe in the universal coincidence, something I just can’t believe in. “God doesn’t play dice!”
Just imagine the complexity of our universe, and everything happens for a reason. From the smallest to the very largest everything is submitted to a specific law or to several specific and defined laws. From the tiny Quark to the humungous Galaxies, everything obeys to these laws. Then, why in the name of “the smart one who made up these rules”, would a single human being be exempt to these rules?! Definitely NOT!

Confirming and applying the above statement, it becomes clear to me that I am here for a reason. That I do not know or understand this reason is another problem and subject. But my ignorance does surely not eliminate the truth of the above.

Now, when it comes to my life’s priorities, OK, there is my life basics, like eat, drink, sleep, dress, which are my overall priorities. But those basic needs often become luxuries. Not conform with basic adequate food and cloths, nor housing, we need better or bigger all the time. At least that is what we “believe” to need. The truth is that we could live fine with basic supplies if we wouldn’t have set our priorities so high. And to fulfil those priorities of food, clothing, housing and relationships, we will have to occupy ourselves with activities that make those very needs possible. We have to earn LOTS of money to fulfil those needs. So we have to get busy trying to obtain these large amounts of money one way or the other. And that takes time and ingenuity. That time we “waste” trying to make a better living is time we don’t share with our true self. To busy to look inside. Have to go for the big bucks.

It will not be easy to convince the person who is living above average standards, to step down some, to slow down and look inside rather than outside. And those who are below that level are busy watching those “rich” guys and envy them. Now that I call a vicious circle.

Usually before one slows down, steps back, one has to reach the extreme. Not until one is touching total loss, near death or some psychological problem, one will wake up and step back.

What is going to happen to us if we continue our lifestyle the way it is now? I am not sure, but I’m sure that I don’t want to know…

…that you need to make a commitment, and once you

make it, then life will give you some answers.

Les Brown said that, and he was right. And making a

commitment means more than saying “I’ll try.” It means

saying “I’m all in. I’m totally committed here. Even if

the going gets rough. In fact, especially then.”

Someone once said, aging puts wrinkles on the body.

Quitting puts wrinkles on the soul.

You will not have to think but a second to know
